Making Disciples

As a local church, living in the light of the great commission, we believe our first calling is to equip believers to become passionate disciples of Jesus Christ.  This mandate compels us to focus our ministry efforts on developing mature Christians who reveal the Person and power of Jesus Christ in every area of their lives—spirit, mind and body.

We maintain that a mature believer will possess Christ-like personal character, a thriving devotional life, emotional, mental, and physical well being, healthy family and interpersonal relationships, excellent stewardship of personal and financial resources, a passionate commitment to develop and deploy one’s spiritual gifts in service to God and others, and an unwavering commitment to the local church. We intend to equip believers:

• By providing the best possible teaching in our weekly services so that our member are always well-nurished and spiritually strong.

• Through the implementation of strategic prayer providing generalized and targeted small group meetings, prayer conferences and systematic teaching courses on the development of a lifestyle of prayer.

• Through the Abundant Life Institute-a believer's Bible school where every Abundant Life member can grow in knowledge of The Word and learn how to live victorious Christian life through on-going systematic teaching and quality scriptural instruction.

• Through the gathering of believers in small groups, specialized programs and creative outreaches for the purpose of fellowship, prayer, mutual encouragement, mentoring, ministry, soul recovery, marriage and family development, and victory over sin, Satan and life controlling problems.

• Through specialized ministry to teens and young adults that promotes spiritual growth and personal achievement through disciplined Christian living and vision development.

• By encouraging Abundant Life members to become wise stewards of their resources and helping them develop the scriptural stewardship skills needed to achieve financial excellence.

• Through the Abundant Life Christian Academy-A school for children which encourages a spiritual world view in an environment of academic achievement.

• By developing facilities that reflect the excellence of our glorious God and create a secure environment that inspires worship, spiritual development, and personal growth.

• By providing easy access to the highest quality Christian educational and inspirational materials through The Word Shop-onsite Christian book and media center.
