Mission of Mercy Outreach

In the winter of 1998, the people of Abundant Life collected nearly three tons of emergency supplies, including clothing and food, to distribute to the victims of the mid-winter ice storm that devastated northern New York.  In addition, a relief team comprised of sixty members with chainsaws and other tools, traveled to Alexandria Bay, New York to render physical assistance to those in need.  It was out of this project that the Mission of Mercy ministry outreach was born. Mission of Mercy is like the Red Cross of Abundant Life Christian Center. It is a hand of mercy to its community. Mission of Mercy was established to bring relief to the Central New York community. Abundant Life uses funds given by its members to be a blessing to others during a time of need or distress. Whether it is a natural disaster or another type of devastation, Mission of Mercy is dedicated to bringing the mercy of the Lord on the scene to those who need it most.
