Quest for the Covenant


Quest for the Covenant is a special service that is interactively designed to teach your children the story of God's covenant and the meaning of Holy Communion.

From 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 we will bring the Covenant to life through acting, activities, and immersive teaching. Once your child is a Quest for the Covenant graduate, they will take their first communion on Good Friday, April 19th, in the main service with the adults!

Will lunch be served?
No, we will not be serving meals at the event.

What is the cost?
This is a FREE event for your 3rd,4th or 5th grader who has not taken Covenant Table in thepast.

Who is invited?
Any 3rd, 4th or 5th grade student who has not participated in a Covenant Table event in the past.

Why is it importantfor my child to attend Covenant Quest?
This will be an engaging and educational event that is designed to teach your child about the covenant God made with man, starting with Abraham and continuing until today. They will learn about this covenant, why it’s important and what it means for them in today’s culture.

Will you be serving communion at the event?
No, the children will learn about communion and what it means, but they will have an opportunity to take first communion with the entire church on Good Friday. Those services will be on Friday, April 19 at6 and 8 p.m. at ALCC.
