Ahoy Matey! This summer, Kid Life Preschool Day Camp is going to be an amazing adventure for the ages as we hunt some of God’s greatest treasure.

ARRR ye preschoolers ready to sail the seven seas and become expert treasure hunters? We will be learning about OBEDIENCE as we study the life of Jonah! Our little swashbucklers will learn that they can live their best life and experience their most amazing adventure when they obey! This day camp will be full of fun, games, worship, and exploring God’s Word.

Kid Life Preschool Day Camp is a one-day event held on July 16, 2018 for children ages 3-Kindergarten (children must be potty trained). Kid Life Preschool Day Camp combines games, small groups, worship and teaching for an experience that will make a long-lasting impression on your child. This camp begins at 8:00am and parents can pick up their children at 3:00pm.

Common Questions

Here are a few things that will help you plan for Treasure Hunters camp.

When is the registration fee due?

Moneyis due at the time of registration. The last day to register will be July 1, 2018.

What does the price include?

The cost includes lunch, light snacks, programming and activities, and a camp T-shirt.

What is the dress code?

It is summer and it will be warm, so we encourage shorts and t-shirts. Tennis shoes or sneakers are
required because of outdoor and indoor activities. NO flip-flops. Please make sure to bring an extra set of clothes for your child. Send them in a bag with
your child’s first and last name labeled on it.

Does my child have to be potty trained?

Yes, your child must be potty trained to attend the Kid Life Preschool Day Camp.

What happens in
case of medical emergency?

There will be a nurse at camp with your child (provided by Family Ministries). In the event of an emergency, your child will receive the necessary medical attention by our nurse and/or be transported to the nearest medical hospital for treatment. We will
attempt to contact you immediately.

Will there be adequate supervision?

Yes, supervision of your child will be provided by the ALCC staff and approved Family Ministry Volunteers. Supervision will be provided for all activities.

What type of food will be served?

Lunch will be provided for the students as well as a light snack and drink in the afternoon. Parents should not pack snacks for their child, unless the child has special
dietary needs or food allergies. If your child has special food needs, please contact Stephanie Adams in Family Ministries offices.

Will there be a nap time?

Although we will not have a formal nap time, we will make sure we take time during the day to get
out of the sun and give the children time to rest.

Can my child take medications?

Prescription medications can be administered by the nurse with instruction. Prescription medications need to be in the original bottle. All prescription bottles should
come in a Ziploc bag with the camper’s name written clearly on it. Over the counter medications will not be accepted at Kid Life Preschool Day Camp. The camp nurse will administer all medications.

What is the discipline policy?

Kid Life Preschool Day Camp staff reserves the right to dismiss any camper whose conduct becomes in
any way detrimental and disrespectful to other campers, or camp leader­ship.
