Every vision requires a plan. Every building that has been constructed needs a plan by an architect. It needs the proper materials and resources to help endure the stresses of life. You wouldn't live in a building that appeared within a week. God is the architect of our lives and we are His masterpiece. Just like the beautiful landmark, the Eiffel Tower wasn't built overnight, it took years of planning. Manifestation of vision takes time. God creates each masterpiece with a vision. God has to get the inner image deep inside your heart where you can believe it can be done. Then He can reveal the plans for that vision in your heart.
Executing a plan requires action, people, decisions and patience. Overtime, you'll find the plan you created isn't always the plan that happens. Proverbs 16:9 says "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps". We must realize when we can make our own plans, but its God who is going to direct our actions. You may think,"I'm solely responsible in making all this happen". When we think like this we construct our own plans without God. You'll find yourself upset, frustrated, anxious over where you are now and where you want to be.
What do you do when your vision and your plans are not lining up? When the thing that you're hoping and believing for doesn't match the reality of your life? We must apply faith in the gaps of our lives. Faith acts like glue that holds everything together. You have to put your faith in the gaps.
You have to look back at all the good things God has done for you. Look at how He mended and fashioned the broken relationships, provided finances and presented opportunities for you. He is constantly working out all things for your good. We must learn to be open and adaptable with God. He will often use the things of little significance to us to perform a great work in our lives. When you plan the vision for your life, don't do it alone. We are in relationship with God. He is doing a good work in us and through us. There is only so much we can do on our own. We must place our trust and confidence in Him, the master architect.
